Dear Friend of The Awakened Heart Project,
We at The Awakened Heart Project very much appreciate your interest, and for some, your generous support over the past two years.
At this time we are asking you to consider the The Awakened Heart Project in your annual giving plans. As you know, you will be joining with other like-minded people, pooling your charitable dollars and magnifying their impact. The Awakened Heart Project will use this money to develop and promote the practice of mindful awareness and meditation across the Jewish world in the service of waking the heart of wisdom, compassion and kindness in all those who come to this practice. Click here to donate now.
Our collective funds support The Awakened Heart Project as a planning organization to create Jewish meditation retreats around the world, partnering with local efforts to promote meditation in the creation of these retreats.
In addition, your generosity allows us to sponsor a web site where teachings will be freely available, as well as a calendar of retreats where this practice can be experienced and fostered.
We are also excited to tell you that a new book by Jeff Roth, “Jewish Meditation Practices for Everyday Life”, will be published by Jewish Lights Publishing in March 2009. Plus we will be ending our second year with a month-long retreat, an opportunity unique in the Jewish World.
In the Spring, Jeff will embark on a nationwide book tour – traveling to nearly 25 cities – to promote Jewish meditation. We will use this book tour as an opportunity to introduce contemplative Judaism to dozens of congregations.
As a tax-exempt organization, your donation is tax deductible. Please consider making a monthly gift that we can charge to your credit card. Click here to donate now to The Awakened Heart Project for a Contemplative Judaism.
With your gift of $18, $36, $360, or more, you will become a co-creator of this unique organization that supports the cultivation of an awakened heart, which can lead to a living with greater joy, dedicated to improving the lives of all beings, manifestations of the Divine.
Sincerely, and for all of us here at The Awakened Heart Project,
Jeff Roth & Brian Arnell
